Drone Show Guys seeks creative, focused, and talented individuals to deliver breathtaking messages via drone light shows.
We are looking for a skilled 3D artist with professional experience in the gaming, visual effects, or animation industry. The Light Show Creator is passionate about coming up with creative concepts and efficiently creating art assets.
The Light Show Creator will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to design high visibility light shows, which will showcase globally at prestigious marketing, branding, and entertainment events. In this role, you will create dynamic 3D animations for light show drones to carry out. You'll receive the creative freedom to design assets and the opportunity to bring new ideas to the team.
You must be able to design 3D animations that incorporate 150 or more drones, controlling position, velocity, timing, and color. Staying focused under pressure is a must. You are comfortable with receiving feedback from teammates and customers. Having an open mind, an inclination to learn, and a curiosity about new technologies will make this a fantastic experience while enabling Drone Show Guys to continue being the industry leader.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, design, and produce a wide range of 3D graphics and animations utilizing our drone light show technology.
Support the sales team with concepts and designs.
Realize complete drone shows from first concept to final validation before flight.
Take ownership of your work and proactively support the team by offering creative ideas to improve our processes.
Work with our creative team to expand our animation creation capacity through recruitment and management of external resources.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Design, Art, or related field
Requirements
Experience with 3D programs such as 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, as well as Photoshop and other technologies utilized in digital art production
Experience creating 3D assets
Background
Experience and creating 2D assets
Familiarity with quickly developing 3D prototypes
Background as a motion-designer
Proficiency with music, lighting, and sound
Participation in creating new markets and enabling new technology
