Proprietary Show Technology That Rivals Anything on the Market
The Robota RG3 platform — flight hardware and animation software engineered as one system — outperforms off-the-shelf show drones where it matters: longer flight times, faster setup, richer rendering, and the flexibility to change your show at any phase of the design.

What Sets the RG3 Apart
- Longer flight times. More time in the air per battery means fuller shows and more ambitious choreography than typical show drones can sustain.
- Faster setup. The RG3 deploys with a minimal ground footprint — a 100-drone show sets up in 1.5–2.5 hours and integrates seamlessly with your event schedule.
- Better rendering and customization. Our animation pipeline produces richer, more precise sky graphics, and every show is fully customizable — colors, formations, branding, and synchronized storytelling.
- Change your show at any phase. Most providers lock the design after a certain point in production. Because our design software and fleet are one system, revisions stay on the table from the first storyboard to show week.
- Safety by design. Automated failsafes are built into the flight controller of every drone: a unit that deviates from its programmed path disables its motors rather than leave the show volume. More on the Safety & Compliance page.
- Indoor and outdoor capability. Specialized technology for each environment, with shows synchronized to music, fireworks, and other entertainment.
Why We Can Do What Others Can't
The RG3 covers the entire show pipeline — design and animation software, flight control, and the aircraft — engineered as one system rather than assembled from other companies' parts. No licensing another operator's fleet, no adapting camera drones that were never meant to fly in choreographed swarms, and no middlemen in the price. It's also how we keep shows affordable: from $120 per drone, with shows starting at $3,000.
Fifteen-Plus Years in Drones
The RG3 didn't appear overnight. It's the product of 15+ years of drone engineering experience applied to one problem: making drone light shows reliable, safe, and affordable enough for any event. That know-how is the barrier that keeps drone show companies rare — read The Elite Drone Show Club for why.
