What a Drone Show Costs in 2026

By Antonio Liska •

Drone show in progress illustrating cost factors

Drone Show Guys shows start at $3,000, with DFW wedding shows from $4,500. Your event, show specifications, and customization determine the quote.

Our calculator uses $120 per drone as a starting rate, but we have produced shows below that rate. Have a budget in mind? Tell us about your event before deciding what is possible.

Use the calculator to start the conversation

The drone show calculator helps you explore the effect of drone count and production choices. It gives a planning estimate; your quote reflects the actual show.

These examples use its $120-per-drone rate and $3,000 minimum, before travel, optional production work, or adjustments for your event:

Drone count Starting calculation Planning amount
20 The minimum applies $3,000
50 50 × $120 $6,000
100 100 × $120 $12,000
200 200 × $120 $24,000

These are calculator examples, not fixed package prices. A simpler scope may allow a lower per-drone quote; more customization can add work. The best next step is to share the result you want and the budget you have.

What changes the price

The design. Drone count affects the detail available for shapes, lettering, and motion. A clear, focused concept can be a better fit for a modest budget than trying to squeeze a complex scene into fewer drones.

The date. Major celebration dates can carry a premium. Send your date early so we can discuss availability and the effect on price.

The production. Music synchronization and coordination with pyrotechnics add work. Tell us which parts of the event need to line up with the show.

The site. The venue, operating space, and event arrangements affect what can be delivered. A venue address helps us make the conversation specific.

What to budget for a DFW wedding

Wedding shows in Dallas–Fort Worth can start at $4,500. That gives you a useful starting point for a conversation about a reveal, a personal message, or a finale.

It is not a promise of a particular drone count or design. Tell us which moment matters most, what you want guests to see, and your venue so we can recommend a scope.

A real $4,500 wedding package

At The Castle at Rockwall, we put together a 60-drone, six-minute evening wedding show with a moonlit backdrop for $4,500.

That price was a wedding package. It was not calculated by multiplying 60 drones by the calculator’s $120 planning rate. Specifications and customization shape the quote, and a package can come in below that per-drone figure.

Use this example to start a conversation about your own event. It does not set the price for every 60-drone show: send your date, venue, and design idea so we can talk through a package that fits.

Travel outside DFW

Mileage charges apply outside Dallas–Fort Worth, at $2 per mile. Share the exact venue address so travel can be confirmed in your quote.

We focus on Texas and the surrounding states—Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. Farther events are available by arrangement.

Do you need to choose the drone count first?

No. Start with the idea, audience, venue, and budget. Send us your logo or main piece of artwork, and we can talk through how many drones it may need.

A shape tailored to a couple, company, or community can carry a strong message. Detailed artwork, the viewing distance, and the size of the audience help determine the scale.

Bring us your number

The calculator is a starting point, and your event deserves a real conversation. Send the date, address, approximate audience size, and budget, along with any design ideas.

Let’s work out your show.
